Architectural and furniture hardware supplier strengthens sales and customer support team with the appointment of Distribution Manager.
Architectural and furniture hardware supplier Sugatsune Kogyo has strengthened its sales and customer support team with the appointment of Mark Johnstone as Distribution Manager.
Johnstone brings more than 15 years warehouse management, international freight cargo and logistics experience to the post.
In his new role, he will be responsible for Sugatsune UK's shipping, warehousing, stock control and IT management systems.
He will also hold responsibilities for sales and customer support for the company's complete product range.
Marketed under the company's Lamp brand, Sugatsune's hardware range includes: soft opening and closing and assisted lift door stays and hinges; numerous conventional hinges, including concealed and detent types; flush and conventional handles; latching systems; mechanical and magnetic catches; fasteners; casters; adjustable feet; drawer slides; locks; brackets; and shelving systems.
The company has pioneered the development of modern soft close dampers through its Lapcon technology.
