Compression latch withstands any environment
A new stainless steel compression latch is designed to withstand contaminants such as humidity, water, dust, ice, temperature variations, and corrosive conditions and liquids
All stainless steel materials offer superior corrosion resistance with increased strength and durability.
The latch features the same styling and operation as the M1 latch family to achieve a consistent appearance across product platforms, with a highly polished, elegant look.
The flush-turn compression latch offers 5mm of compression for smooth, intuitive operation and ease of access to sealed areas.
The compression feature eliminates wear between the cam and frame and can be used to compress the door against environmental gaskets.
The latch is sealed to achieve an IP65/NEMA 12 rating for critical sealing applications.
The Latch is secured in a round hole with two supplied mounting screws, leaving no visible or protruding hardware.
Gaskets and O-rings are also provided for complete sealing with no leakage points.
Six pawl options are available to meet a range of application needs and panel thicknesses.
Once installed, the pawl can be adjusted for a custom fit.
Operating the flush-turn compression latch is simple: lift the handle to relieve the compression, then turn to unlatch.
To store the handle flush while the latch is open, simply turn the handle 180 degrees and fold it into the latch cup.
The flush-turn compression latch is ideal for the harsh environments of marine and other outdoor applications such as rail, RV/caravan, and even rooftop HVAC/R access panels.
