Providing the added assurance of lockable security, Southco is introducing a new key-locking version of its popular quad panel latch series.

This robust and versatile panel latch series offers strong fastening and quick access to gasketed doors and panels, and is sealed for NEMA 4/IP 66 applications.

This new key-locking quad panel latch is designed for interior and exterior hinged doors or lift-off access panels that must be securely latched to a frame, have a minimal compression load, and require key-lockable security.

It is designed for applications in a variety of industries, including enclosures, CEMs, telecommunications equipment, switch gear, industrial machinery, HVAC/R equipment, RVs, rail equipment, kiosks and off-highway equipment.

The key-locking quad panel latch features an internal O-ring and an external sealing washer for NEMA 4/IP 66 applications.

There is no through-hole in the lock plug, so that dirt, water, and other contaminants cannot penetrate the latch.

A stainless-steel lock cover provides an additional barrier of protection.

Southco quad panel latches provide secure, sealed latching in a single, economical component.

They operate with a simple quarter turn to latch and unlatch.

A pawl indicator on the housing allows for fast, visual confirmation of whether the latch is open or closed.

These latches install quickly into a simple 22.5mm prepared hole, allowing for drop-in replacement and field retrofits.

Southco's quad panel latches are specifically designed with industrial application requirements in mind.

The series includes 12 tool or key-operated headstyles to meet numerous authorised personnel access restrictions.

Thirteen grip options are available, and the latch also comes in an unassembled version to accommodate various application requirements.

These new key-locking quad panel latches are available in chrome-plate and black powder-coat finishes.

Locking options include an over-moulded key with custom logo imprint capabilities.

The new key-locking quad panel latches can also be easily integrated with other Southco locking hardware, allowing for increased cost savings and consolidated ordering.
