Designers demanding both style and functionality now can specify a new push-to-close panel latch from Southco that can be completely or partially concealed, yet is simple to use This new innovative latch - known as the "Parrot" because of its distinctive profile - is suitable for both interior and exterior doors and panels or in applications where designers are looking for a clean outer surface for more styling options

The Parrot latch features an integrated, silicone dampening pad that minimises the closing impact of the hatch or door.

An adjustable keeper accommodates misalignment or manufacturing variances between the door or panel and the frame.

The latch is easily installed, using two screws for the latch and three for the keeper.

A simple pull on the textured handle of the Parrot latch frees it from the keeper, allowing the door or panel to swing open.

This makes the latch ideal for right-angled and exterior applications such as cabinets in the marine, RV and conversion van industries or clamshell applications on industrial equipment.

The parrot latch is also well suited for enclosures or exhibits or any application where a concealed, push-to-close latch is required.

The Parrot latch is constructed of high-density plastic and stainless-steel materials for lightweight durability with superior corrosion resistance.

It is available in four handle finishes: black, brass, bright chrome or satin chrome to suit a variety of applications.
