Southco has introduced the 64H push-to-close, slide-bolt latch as the latest addition to its growing selection of industrial-grade latches.

The slide-bolt design, available with an optional key-locking feature for added security, provides secure latching plus the convenience to slam the latch closed even if the lock is engaged.

Each lockable latch is shipped with two keys, and can be ordered in one of 500 keycode options.

The all-metal construction is available in a choice of steel or stainless steel bodies, each with a maximum working load of 555N.

A wide, thick, steel paddle-style actuator handle provides a solid and convenient grip for gloved hands in construction, off-highway and industrial applications.

A riveted slide bracket delivers consistent performance and permits installation of an internal release handle inside the enclosure.

A recessed cup that holds the wide handle and optional lock mechanism provides for virtually flush-profile installation.

Attachment options include welded, riveted, or bolted mounting.

All latch models install conveniently in a single rectangular hole, with minimal preparation time or effort.

Typical applications for the 64H push-to-close slide bolt latch include industrial gensets, off-highway construction equipment, trucks, buses and industrial equipment and enclosures.
