Compression latch withstands any environment

"With the addition of the hinges, we have expanded our product capabilities into another major application zone of the boat - the deck", said Andersson.
"The hinge line will help us to serve our customer with a complete package including all both latches and hinges".
The newcomer in the hinge line is the covered hinge.
The covered hinge is a top mount hinge with no visible mounting hardware.
The hinge can be easily installed from the top surface of the hatch without any need for crawling into the hatch compartments to tighten the hinge nuts from the inside.
The simplified installation process helps users to minimise the installation time and reduce cost.
To cover the mounting screws from the top and to provide a sleek look and design these hinges features self aligning covers which can easily be placed on top of the hinge.
The covers are held securely with a double sided tape, designed specifically for strong adhesion in the marine environment, which in case of need easily can be removed by using a heating gun.
The covered hinge is available in various styles and sizes and features a robust stainless steel body construction with a bright polished 316 stainless steel cover.
In addition Southco Marine now offers a wide range of stamped and cast hinges available in multiple sizes and shapes in order to create a perfect fit to your hatch.
All hinges are made in a stainless steel construction and are hand polished for a superior finish.
The two seam design of the stamped hinges are one of the latest additions to the product portfolio and provide a clean appearance and smooth surface.
