Thru hulls provide consistent appearance
Common shapes and sizes for the stainless steel exterior faceplates of both the Nysteel and Stalon lines enable boat designers to standardise on one look.
Southco Marine's Nysteel and Stalon product lines use a combination of 316 stainless steel and nylon to reduce weight in a variety of corrosion-resistant thru-hull designs They suit harsh marine environments and feature standard sizes of round or oval stainless steel exterior flanges to present a more consistent look throughout all applications on a vessel

Compression latch withstands any environment
A new stainless steel compression latch is designed to withstand contaminants such as humidity, water, dust, ice, temperature variations, and corrosive conditions and liquids
The Nysteel line uses 316 stainless steel plus a nylon mounting nut for corrosion resistance.
The casting process provides a strong, lightweight, solution that delivers a significant reduction in the material cross section, compared to a machined thru hull.
The cast thread design also minimises rust potential as compared to machine-cut threads.

Heavy-duty performance meets modern design
A novel heavy-duty vice-action compression latch was designed to meet both the performance and aesthetic needs of equipment used in the heavy-duty machinery and transportation industries.
Nysteel thru hulls are available with both round and oval face designs, each accommodating a range of barb dimensions to satisfy the six most popular hose sizes from 16 to 38mm.
Each face design installs in a round hole.
The back side of the barb enables one-man installation to minimise production time and costs.
The round face design is available for hull thicknesses of up to 80mm.
The oval face design fits hulls up to 34mm.
The all-nylon body of the Stalon thru hull design is co-injected into a 316 stainless steel cap to provide permanent attachment.
This delivers a cost-effective, lightweight solution with the attractiveness of a stainless steel exterior.
The Stalon line is available with round faceplates in a variety of barb sizes, from 13 to 52mm.
Various Stalon thru-hull styles accommodate hull thicknesses up to 100mm.
The same Stalon construction is also available in a 90 and a 15 degree style to accommodate specific mounting requirements and to prevent water from being trapped in the drain hose.
In addition, a Stalon manifold is available with female ports to accommodate four 19mm pipes, or with female ports designed to accommodate one 32 and three 19mm pipes.
Common shapes and sizes for the stainless steel exterior faceplates of both the Nysteel and Stalon lines enable boat designers to standardise on one look for all their thru hull needs.
The Nysteel round face designs are available in three standard diameters: 43, 55 and 78mm, while the Nysteel oval face designs are all 68 x 54mm.
Each of the faceplate sizes is available for multiple barb dimensions to satisfy common hose sizes.
These two new stainless steel/nylon designs are the latest additions to a comprehensive line of Southco Marine all-stainless thru hulls, strainer intake thru hulls, exhaust thru hulls and manifold thru hull assemblies.
