Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories ranked number 1 relay manufacturer by Electric Utilities.

The latest survey conducted by the Newton-Evans Research Company, Worldwide Study of the Protective Relay Marketplace in Electric Utilities: 2006-2008, Volume 1: North American Market, asked personnel at 112 utilities to measure relay manufacturers.

Utilities chose Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) as the number 1 manufacturer in all eight categories: technology, price, features, security against hackers, technical service and support, web information, ease of use, and maintenance cost.

Customers ranked SEL number 1 in combined customer experience by a large margin over its nearest competitor, showing SEL's dedication to quality, reliability, and service.
