Industries including water process and distribution; environmental monitoring; broadcast transmission; pipelines for the water, oil and gas industries; airports; and power distribution and lighthouses have all benefited from the collection of data from multiple outstations, RTUs and PLCs by Servelec supplied equipment.
The website provides a selection of application summaries about these and other projects, along with in-depth descriptions about telemetry-related products that Servelec design and produce.
Network management and customer support services are also included, to illustrate the holistic range of services on offer to the valued Servelec customer.
The website changes regularly, with press releases and news items being added to the "Telemetry news" section.
Servelec has been widely publicised, with news articles appearing in local newspapers and specialist journals such as Computer Weekly.
The "Members area" of the website provides an opportunity for customer interaction, with a password-protected page that enables them to ask questions directly to Servelec staff members.
Customers can also benefit from the latest information about product updates and developments.
Early indications are that the website is popular among its users and with new sites planned for Servelec's other business groups, the success looks set to continue.
