John Hall, previously employed by Serck Controls as Water Sector Sales Manager, has joined Sheffield-based CSE-Servelec as Sales Manager for the Telemetry Group.

Hall has over 20 years of experience of the use of telemetry within the water industry, securing major contracts and maintaining close working relationships with many blue-chip organisations, including the Environment Agency, Thames Water and Northumbrian Water.

Hall attributes his successful career to always putting the customer first and making their needs his top priority.

CSE-Servelec's existing presence in the telemetry market will be strengthened through strategic management of their key water accounts, with Hall being accessible as a single point of contact for new and existing water telemetry customers.

One of Hall's major responsibilities in his new role will be to prepare for AMP4, due to commence in April 2005.

This will be an excellent opportunity to publicise the company's position as a market leader and to raise awareness of its telemetry expertise for the water sector.

Scope-X is the basis for CSE-Servelec's solutions in the water sector.

It is built around open technology and web standards and provides real-time operational information within its Scada and telemetry functionality.

Variants of Scope-X systems are in operation at the Environment Agency, Welsh Water and Southern Water, amongst others, and the customer base is widening.

Hall will work with CSE-Servelec's existing customers and his own contacts within the water industry to sustain the company's reputation as a first class provider of telemetry solutions with the aim of broadening the company's success during AMP4.
