The PipeMan Marti software suite will be used as a basis of the leak detection system for a pipeline project located in the Republic of Yemen.

PipeMan Marti is real-time application relying mainly on physically based mathematical simulators.

The Leak Detection System will be fully engineered and will guarantee to perform the functions and performances in accordance with a leak sensitivity study.

The new 320km gas pipeline will carry gas from a field close to the town of Marib, 180km east of the Yemeni capital Sana'a, to a liquefied national gas (LNG) terminal being built close to Bal Haf in the Gulf of Aden.

The project, valued at Eur 176,000, is expected to take approximately six months.
