The AS motorsport pressure transducer is an economical subminiature pressure sensor specially designed for use on racing engines and chassis systems The sensor's body dimensions are a compact 21mm in diameter by 24mm long allowing the As pressure sensor to be utilised in almost any area of the racing vehicle

A variety of pressure connections appropriate to autosport applications are available and the electrical connection to the motorsport datalogger or engine management system is provided by a booted Raychem DR25 cable protected to IP67.

To ease installation the AS pressure transducer has a hex nut fitted to the back of the sensor to facilitate easier removal and fitting of the sensor into hard to reach or recessed areas.

There is a choice of electrical signals to suit different autosport electronics: 0.5 to 5V driven by a 8-16V power supply or a 0.5 to 4.5V ratiometric signal driven by a 5V power supply.

All motor sport pressure ranges are covered by the AS compact pressure sensor starting from 1bar gauge or absolute to cover lower ranges such as engine oil, airbox and fuel pressure and up to 400bar for measuring hydraulic, pneumatic, fuel system and brake fluid pressures.

The AS pressure sensor has a rugged construction to withstand a high vibration environment and low noise RFI filtering is incorporated into the electronics to protect from two way radio interference.
