The Kenmac series modular 85 system is a modular instrumentation interface and mounting system.

The system includes all of the components needed to put a transmitter into service.

It includes a standard series of two- and four-valve manifolds for pressure and differential pressure measurement; factory installed and tested Swagelok tube fittings with locking pin and gasket are available.

Instrument monoflanges provide isolation and vent functions for local instrument or indicator mounting.

Self-venting single and double purge blocks are included, complete with one venting valve, one integral filter, and one or two soft-seated check valves.

Also included are: electric heaters - Heat manifolds and instrument bodies, ATEX Zone 1 Gas Group IIA, IIB, and IIC classified; steam trace blocks - heat transmitter bodies and manifolds, installed 10mm or 0.375in.

Swagelok tube fittings; seal pots - valve fitted with high-temperature graphite packing and seals; and a filling connector - featuring integral, soft-seated, check valve - bolts to the flange face of pressure transmitters.

A protective shade, constructed from fire-retardant glass fibre with stainless steel fasteners, provides extra protection of electronic instruments against environmental conditions, and mounts directly to the mounting plate assembly.

Additional components include a choice of two mounting plate assemblies, port protector, purge orifice nipple, manifold kidney flange blank, and anti-tamper key.

The Swagelok modular 85 system allows users to conveniently pre-assemble a system and can reduce field installation time and cost.

The system features metal-to-metal seals and parallel threads in accordance with BS2779 (ISO228/1).
