The versatile Platecoil prime surface heat exchanger from Swep offers an efficient and economical heat transfer solution to a wide variety of industries A cost-effective alternative to Pipecoil heat exchangers

Platecoil units can provide accurate and consistent heating or cooling over the entire surface area.

Capable of handling pressures up to 24bar(g), Platecoil units can serve as immersion, jacketing or clamp-on heat exchangers.

They can be banked for heat recovery systems, and may serve as drum warmers or as bayonet heaters.

There are five designs offered as standard for different applications, with infinite possibilities for custom designs in the size and shape required.

Fabricated from two metal sheets, one or both of which are embossed, the compact, space-saving Platecoil heat exchangers are lighter than other options available on the market, easier to install and clean, and offer greater flexibility in size, shape, configuration, materials and finishes.

Moreover, because virtually all of the heat-transfer surface of the units is in contact with both the hot fluid and the cold fluid, they offer high heat transfer rates and provide accurate and consistent heating or cooling over the entire surface area.

Platecoil units are widely used in the plating, metal finishing, chemical processing, pulp and paper, waste treatment, textiles, pharmaceutical, food and beverage industries.

By employing a combination of standard units, they can also be built-in as an integral part of a vessel or plant.
