Tranter PHE has appointed Mark Johnson as Sales Executive with responsibility for a number of key accounts covering the dairy, brewing and distilling sectors and general hygienic markets.

Tranter PHE has appointed Mark Johnson as Sales Executive with responsibility for a number of key accounts covering the dairy, brewing and distilling sectors and general hygienic markets.

Johnson will be responsible for expanding the client base and handling sales of Tranter heat exchangers designed for use in applications which require pure water and in the production of dairy products, juice, beer and pharmaceuticals.

Johnson, from Stockport, has worked in the heat exchanger business for over 20 years, starting out on the factory floor at Tranter and working his way up through production, and Quality and Contracts Manager roles before joining the sales team this year.

David Collins, General Sales Manager at Tranter commenting on Johnson's appointment, said: "One of our prime advantages in dealing with clients is our technical knowhow and Mark has excellent knowledge of the products and in-house applications".

"He's a real asset to the team".

Johnson, commenting on his new role, said: "Fast and efficient heat exchange is crucial in these sectors to ensure the safety and integrity of the products".

"I'm looking forward to building on my previous knowledge and experience in developing these markets".
