Underpinning its commitment to innovative product development, Italian manufacturer Vemer has introduced a new range of modular digital time switches.

Exclusively available in the UK through distributor Switchtec, the new 'Logik' time switches from Vemer offer clock accuracy of +/-1 second per day and event timing accurate to 1 minute.

Single/dual monostable and bistable relay versions of the Logik time switches are available.

Single monostable relay modules are programmable for a maximum of 25 events.

The dual monostable and single/dual bistable versions allow a maximum of 50 programmed events.

The compact units, measuring just 87x35x60mm, are DIN rail mountable and feature backlit LCD displays for clear and accurate setting in poor light conditions.

Aimed at the panel builder and consumer/distribution unit assembler, the time switches can be connected to a wide range of electrical appliances with contact ratings up to 16A/250V.

Six variants of the Logik time switches are available, each featuring easy programming and an extensive range of advanced control functions.

Daily, weekly, monthly and yearly program settings are available on time switches throughout the range, with each model offering a fast exit from programming mode.

Reducing the need for continual twice-yearly maintenance, automatic 'Summertime/Wintertime' one-hour time change is a standard feature on all models.

The 'Holiday' program function suspends the operation of the device for two settable periods during the year.

Where measurement of service intervals and monitoring of total working hours is required, the 'Hour-Counter' function displays the number of hours that the relays have been on (max.

99,999 hours).

Connection switches on the Logik models are protected to IP20, with the front of the instruments protected to IP41.

All time switches have a wide operating temperature of 0øC to +50øC.
