Position switches meet safety and Ex standards
Any mechanical engineer using position switches is familiar with DIN EN 50 047.
This is due not only to a well thought-through ordering of the buttons, but also to the fact that users can put together "their" desired door-handle switch individually, the "M" in the series name standing for "modular".
In other words: the customer chooses the length of the handle, its material (either anodized aluminium or stainless steel), the shape of the handle (straight or angled) and the furnishing of the door-handle with switches, LEDs and an emergency-stop button.
The engineers have also included details such as labelling space and easy-to-assemble connections via an eight-pole or twelve-pole adapter.
This door handle improves the appearance of any machine - and its modular construction means that individual versions can be produced in a very short time and to very high standards.
For operators routines are simplified because all the required controls are located directly in the door handle.
Machine constructors can do away with separate control panels - and this saves money.
The door-handle switches in the TGM series can be used in a multitude of different ways and in all manner of machine types.
They can also be used in protective doors with an integrated solenoid-interlock system.
As well as an emergency-stop button, the door handle can also be equipped with a release button which permits the protective door to be opened.
An integrated LED informs the operator whether the protective door may be opened or not.
