Sierra's Innova-Sonic In-Line is a digital correlation transit-time ultrasonic flowmeter designed to give the end-user high-performance at an affordable price.

Sierra's Innova-Sonic In-Line is a digital correlation transit-time ultrasonic flowmeter designed to give the end-user high-performance at an affordable price Sierra's advanced PicoFlight measurement technology enables improved response to changes in flow and outstanding low flow detection

The instrument features precise PicoFlight measurement technology.

This technology allows the ultrasonic transit time of flight to be measured in picoseconds instead of nanoseconds.

Innova-Sonic In-Line is an ideal choice for any liquid flow application found in general industry.

The instrument is designed primarily as an alternative choice or replacement for magnetic flowmeter applications.

The 0.5% of reading accuracy is as good as a typical magnetic flowmeter, but the ability to measure down to zero flow and the ability to measure virtually any clean liquid regardless of conductivity sets Innova-Sonic In-Line apart.

It offers high precision, high reliability, high capability and low cost, as well as low power consumption and digital signal processing with advanced noise filtering capability.

The instrument is ideal for clean liquid applications and is tolerant of liquids with the small amount of air bubbles or suspended solids commonly found in most industrial flow applications.

Sierra's Innova-Sonic In-Line is designed using SLSI technology (super large scale integration) allowing ten times the component population compared to the typical integrated circuit.

The in-line spool piece design features UPVC (unplasticised PVC) for greater tensile strength and less thermal flexing than normal PVC flanges.

The stainless steel jacket keeps the internal diameter of the flow body fixed during thermal expansions or contractions and contributes to the accuracy.

The Innova-Sonic In-line is easy to programme via infra-red (IR) hand-held remote and includes an easily readable 16 character by 2 line backlit display.
