Sixnet and COI Software have created a partnership to bring together pieces of the industrial Ethernet puzzle.

COI Software's iSNMP Suite works jointly with Sixnet's SNMP-enabled Ethernet managed switches to gather and deliver real-time data to existing HMI or Scada software.
Now automation and control engineers can easily monitor and analyse their network communications using the software tools they already have and are familiar with.
COI Software products are designed to provide a virtual "dashboard" to help industrial Ethernet network users better manage, monitor and use their investments in Ethernet plant-floor technology.
Additionally, the iSNMP Suite's Network Analyst feature can analyse the raw network data and issue network and device status tags to the OPC client application.
An added benefit of this software is that users don't need a network guru to verify the condition of the industrial Ethernet network.
Sixnet industrial Ethernet products such as their managed switches reside right on the factory floor and are the network interfaces to PLCs, computers, I/O or any Ethernet device.
Sixnet Ethernet switches are extremely rugged, ultrareliable with over 1Mh MTBF, and fully rated for tough environments including hazardous locations, marine/offshore and military applications.
These switches offer fault-tolerant ring redundancy, priority queuing for real-time performance, and many other advanced features.
Sixnet and COI software are offering a free trial of the iSNMP Suite, which can be obtained by contacting either company.
In addition, Sixnet managed switch users can get an extra 10% discount on a iSNMP licence.
