Sixnet has launched its newest line of gigabit-enabled industrial Ethernet switches that provide ten times higher data throughput Users can choose from gigabit ring switches or gigabit managed switches with numerous combinations of RJ45 and fibre ports including up to three gigabit ports

These are billed as the first Gigabit Ethernet switches to offer ultra-reliability, even in harsh industrial environments.

Sixnet gigabit switches offer six 10/100 RJ45 ports, one 10/100/1000 RJ45 port, and two flexible gigabit ports for copper or fibre, supporting connections up to 70km.

These fully configurable switches offer many advanced and powerful capabilities to ensure network stability.

The nine-port managed gigabit switch offers real-time secure performance, achieved with rapid spanning tree, SNMP, priority queuing, IGMP, security and much more.

The power of open-source Linux was also put inside to give the ultimate flexibility and security that only Linux offers.

Gigabit versions of the nine-port ring switches offer real-time fault-tolerant rings with backup paths that quickly restore connections in a mere 5ms per hop, all while maintaining plug and play simplicity.

These are ideal for PLCs, deterministic systems, real-time control, outdoor and marine locations plus more.

Sixnet is providing a 20-year service and support promise for all its Ethernet switches as well as free firmware upgrades forever.

With features like superior surge and spike protection and low power operation, these switches provide over one million hours of trouble-free operation.

Industrial ratings certify that these Sixnet switches will perform in the toughest environments, including military applications. Request a free brochure from Sixnet ...
