Sixnet is introducing the Remotelog remote terminal unit (RTU) and datalogger for remote site management.

The Remotelog is a combination of RTU, datalogger, real-time database client and telemetry interface in one compact, installation-ready package.

Uses include unattended site monitoring and energy management.

It will monitor energy usage and power demand in real-time.

It can also be used to create a vendor managed inventory system that will monitor inventory without having to visit each site.

Information can be exchanged with its open communication options.

It is internet and intranet ready, and can securely connect through firewalls.

Data can also be accessed through the firm's field-tested internal telephone modem.

When a phone line isn't available, an external wireless modem can be used.

Remotelog comes with software that will record and upload real-time data to a central database.

No programming is required and field-training requirements are low.
