Scorpion Vision (SVL) has just put the finishing touches to its range of Sony Smart Cameras for machine vision, monitoring and security applications
Starting at just GBP 1800 for the XCI-V3 model, this product is aggressively priced and is anticipated to take a large market share over the next 12 months. The camera is a complete PC/camera system in a small package and is available with either XP Embedded or Linux flavours. SVL are encouraging customers to look at the Sony Smart Cameras which come configured with various editions of Scorpion Vision software.
