System Sensor Europe's new Series 200 Plus thermal sensors are upgraded replacements for the previous 200 Series units, available as fixed temperature only devices or as fixed plus rate-of-rise units.
System Sensor Europe's new Series 200 Plus thermal sensors are upgraded replacements for the previous 200 Series units, available as fixed temperature only devices or as fixed plus rate-of-rise units.
Software control allows the static operating point to be set to either the standard 58 degrees C or the higher 78 degrees C temperature, enabling two units to replace the three previous models providing the necessary software modifications are implemented in the control panel.
In the superseded versions, the static temperature limit was fixed and two discrete detectors were necessary for standard and high temperature applications.
In order to guarantee full backwards compatibility, two separate versions of the fixed temperature detector will in fact be available, pre-set to either the standard or higher temperature limits, although when driven from an updated control panel, one unit will cover the two static operating points.
The new detectors have a much lower profile than the old ones, making them less obtrusive when they are installed, but in all other respects, they are transparently interchangeable with the units they replace.
