Sycode's DWG and DXF file import add-ins let Spaceclaim read Polyface Mesh, Polygon Mesh and 3D Face objects in DWG/DXF files and convert them into solid objects in a Spaceclaim document.
These solids can then be edited using Spaceclaim's direct editing tools.
Most 3D architectural objects found in DWG and DXF files are defined by 3D meshes.
Similarly, many objects are originally created in mesh-based software, such as 3D Studio MAX, before finding their way into DWG or DXF files.
Each add-in comes with an installer and detailed documentation in the form of a compiled HTML help file, which contains a step-by-step tutorial to get the end-user started in the shortest possible time.
