Sycode has unveiled 20 file import and export plug-ins for Bricscad.

'Bricscad is able to read and write DWG, DXF and SAT files only,' said Deelip Menezes, founder and chief executive of Sycode.

'In a multi CAD environment, this puts Bricscad users at a disadvantage.

'With these 20 data exchange plug-ins, we intend to give Bricscad users the power to effectively exchange CAD data with users of other CAD software.' 'The Sycode plug-ins enhance the Bricsys strategy of providing a broad range of applications to our customers,' said Erik De Keyser, chief executive of Bricsys.

The Bricscad plug-ins that are being released are very different from the other IntelliCAD plug-ins that Sycode currently offers.

They have been written from scratch using DRX technology and are designed to work with the Professional as well as the Classic version of Bricscad V8 and V9.
