The Synthesis automation grants are designed to introduce manufacturing firms who need instant, error free, custom CAD drawings with the technology and experts who can quickly design and implement a solution based on proven technology.
Synthesis parametric and configuration software allows companies to quickly "capture" and automate the design of custom manufactured products.

Specifically, successful applicants for the limited (10) available Synthesis automation grants will receive Synthesis software licences, an analysis and design of technical solution, customised programming and online training.
Automated design capability allows company's to have flexibility in designer costs.
Automated designs with instant custom CAD drawings can take the burden off design departments when peak demand hits.
Instead of paying over time or hiring additional designers, most design projects can be quickly made into an automated design/drawing solution.
The bonus of having error free drawings created in only seconds provides a buffer for busy times.
Synthesis automated design software includes a robust 2D/3D parametric CAD program along with design configuration options allowing the choice of using Excel, Access, an engineering spreadsheet, Microsoft's Internet Explorer or a customer's own database or existing design configuration program.
According to Synthesis Company President Tim Paxton: "Most manufacturing companies don't want to risk investing thousands of dollars and their valuable time into investigating design automation, that is where a Synthesis Design Automation grant can help companies get off to a productive start with a high return on investment".
Manufacturing companies which have benefited from using advanced Synthesis parametrics include 3M, ABB, Koni, Siemens, ThyssenKrupp, York International, Boeing and many other smaller companies.
Synthesis customers surveyed estimate that more than $1 billion dollars in custom manufactured products are drawn each year using Synthesis automated CAD design software.
