Seminar offers essential PED guidance
The SOE's IPlantE Professional Sector is to host Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) seminar on 10th May 2005 in Birmingham.
Is your company Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) compliant?.
Are you fully up to speed with the latest developments and aware of the implications you could face if you don't satisfy the requirements?.
IPlantE, a Professional Sector of the SOE (Society of Operations Engineers), is hosting a seminar to give both members and nonmembers essential information on the PED and its requirements.
The seminar will detail the steps necessary to uphold PED standards, examine the benefits of alternative maintenance systems and advise delegates on the latest statutory legislation.
Speakers will include Steve Shaw from the Health and Safety Executive, Jim Hockenhull from Royal and SunAlliance Engineering and John Wintle from TWI (The Welding Institute).
A discussion forum will follow the presentations, and delegates will have the opportunity to question the experts.
The seminar will be held at Austin Court in Birmingham on 10th May 2005 from 1400 to 1700 BST and costs just GBP 40 plus VAT for SOE members, GBP 50 plus VAT for nonmembers and GBP 22 plus VAT for retired and student SOE members (all fees inclusive of a copy of the presentations and refreshments).
