Seminar to discuss vehicle brake testing
The IRTE is running a seminar in Birmingham to examine the concerns relating to vehicle brake testing, with particular reference to trailer brakes.
The IRTE is running a seminar on the afternoon of Wednesday 24th May at the Birmingham and Midland Institute examining the concerns relating to vehicle brake testing, with particular reference to trailer brakes Also on the agenda will be EBS communication, compatibility and friction materials
Speakers will include representatives from: trailer-axle manufacturer BPW; braking system supplier Haldex; Government agencies and large fleet operators.
Delegates will be presented not only with varied views on the current situation but also with potential solutions and likely future developments.
Registration will commence at 1330 BST with the seminar getting underway at 1400 BST and finishing at approximately 1700 BST.
Fees are GBP 49 for SOE members, GBP 70 for nonmembers and GBP 25 for retired/student members (all prices plus VAT).
