Tata Technologies iKS now offers a 2008 New User Express Course in i get it and improved packaging which provides even more value to users of SolidWorks "The popularity of our SolidWorks courses this past year has been astounding", says David Fedler, Chief Strategy Officer for i get it

"And the number of requests we have received for an online course that teaches new SolidWorks users the basics in the shortest amount of time has also been equally unprecedented".

"With this new course and the existing SolidWorks courses, i get it now features 62 courses spanning three software versions".

"We expect the new course to be very popular as SolidWorks continues to grow in worldwide adoption as a design software solution of choice".

Wendy Thornton, Content Manager for i get it comments: "SWX New User Express is intended to get the new SWX user up and running quickly with SWX.

The course is composed of eight units featuring practical insight and instruction on design intent, basic and intermediate sketching, modelling, drawings, patterns, managing errors, design changes, design libraries, and assemblies".

"SWX users overwhelmingly prefer learning through audio/video lessons and they want to learn at their own pace".

Fedler adds: "With the release of this new course we have also repackaged our SWX courses into three distinct packages offering even better value than before".

"Over the past several months, we have received overwhelming feedback from the SWX user community to repackage our courses".

Users can now choose one of three options: SWX Update and Specialised Topics; SWX Professional; and SWX Premium.

The new packaging options are effective now.

Existing i get it subscribers to the SWX Office and SWX Office Premium will automatically have the SWX New User Express course added to their i get it Learning Path.
