Absolutely backlash-free and torsionally stiff, the new additions to the ZA range of line shafts are available for torques up to 4000Nm.
The new models are suitable for shaft diameters from 5mm to 100mm and for spanning axial distances of between 0.2mm and 6m.
The couplings incorporate multi-walled bellows made from highly flexible, high grade stainless steel which dampen vibration.
The product's design effectively prevents dislocation of the metal bellows allowing the assembly to be used in high speed applications.
The line shafts are suitable for speeds of up to 8,000 rpm, depending on the length selected.
For fast mounting and dismounting, the aluminium intermediate tube section of the new line shaft can be easily removed.
Its couplings have an infinite life and are maintenance-free.
In common with other Tandler coupling products, they accommodate misalignment in three planes and provide exact transmission of angle and torque.
