OPC compliance outsourced successfully
Through Tascomp's development of an OPC server, Status Instruments has achieved full OPC compliance for its MEDACS II signal conditioning units ensuring international compatibility and connection
It can even be used to perform multivariable profile control in a wide range of industrial applications.
ATS is ideal for applications where the control sequence can be expressed as a sequence of stages, each with a range of control variables, ramp rates, dwell times, phase end conditions etc.
The ATS interface provides the user with a simple spreadsheet into which the control parameters for each stage are entered.
In addition to the control of analogue and digital signals full alarm capability is available as ATS can accept any predefined alarm schedules.
For total flexibility of even the most complex routines Prodigy Slang sequence language control programs can also be incorporated into test phases.
By structuring the control sequence, applying range limits and using drop down lists it is possible to prevent users from defining control sequences that are out of specification.
Unlimited test schedules can be created and stored, each with unlimited test phases and up to 250 control variables including ramp rate, set point, dwell, hold off.
Other functionality includes conditional phase termination, repeat loops and conditional branching.
Prodigy is widely used for industrial monitoring control and automation applications and combines all the facilities needed for HMI, Scada and DCS in one integrated package.
In addition to the standard Scada functionality it offers an extensive range of dedicated facilities including SPC, downtime monitoring, expert data system, multigraph, on line maintenance etc.
Prodigy software and turnkey systems are supplied through a network of authorised resellers.
