Protect welders when weldgun caps are lost
WeldSaver protects operators and welding system when weldgun caps are lost.
All of these features are a direct result of years of experience and suggestions from the use of the original AFD100 series tools in inhospitable production environments.
Some of the improvements include:- Completely new pneumatic valve technology.
Aerospace rated flow valve has large orifice size making it much less sensitive to particle contamination and nearly impervious to oil contamination.
Completely new pneumatic cylinder technology Pushcorp now manufactures its own cylinders to provide superior performance.
The cylinders operate with no lubrication to attract dust contamination.
The cylinder utilise high quality wipers and Teflon seals to provide low friction and 20 times the life of older cylinders.
Improved force control performance The new FCU controller combines with the above features to greatly improve dynamic force response.
This enables faster robot feed rates and higher production throughput.
Improved maintainability The AFD1000 now utilises a high speed digital connection to the FCU1000 controller.
This means the cable is smaller and more flexible.
Also the AFD1000 is "smart" in that it is no longer necessary to deal with "Calibration Parameters" when swapping tools.
Tools can be changed at any time and the parameters are updated automatically without any required user input.
The Pushcorp Range of compliant platforms, weld shavers, and grinding spindles are available in Europe through Robotic Tooling supplier TIA Ltd.
The Pushcorp range complements TIA existing range of end effector tooling including gripper's, tool changers, anti-crash tooling, six axis force/torque sensors, robot covers, weld gun water savers and robotic de-burring systems.
