TR introduces Ethernet/IP and Profinet transducers

A TR Electronic product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Sep 17, 2009

TR has introduced its LA-46 Ethernet/IP and LA-66 Profinet products to the North American market, providing Ethernet/IP and Profinet solutions for the industrial automation industries.

The linear transducers are available in a variety of profiles or in-cylinder form-factors and have stroke lengths of up to 2,000mm.

These products provide additional choice for industrial applications such as stamping, casting, injection moulding, tire and rubber manufacturing, and automated machinery where a wear-free, continuous feedback solution is preferred.

Custom lengths and configurations are available direct from TR's manufacturing facilities.

The LA-46 linear transducer is suitable for direct installation into cylinders and is certified to the Profinet standard by the PTO.

The devices are available with standard measuring lengths up to 2,000mm and can be custom ordered to specification.

The LA-66 Ethernet/IP transducer is also a non-contact, wear-free measurement system designed for direct installation in hydraulic cylinders.

The LA-66 is certified to the Ethernet/IP standard by the ODVA.

Both devices are fully configurable using TR's Winprog software, which is downloadable from the company's website, allowing users to configure devices to exact specifications.

Profile style options are also available.
