Tech Ed Concepts (TEC) has released the 2002 TEC Academic Catalogue of 3D Engineering Solutions.
An important component of the TEC Summer Camp programme is that instructors from across North America are able to interact and take home new classroom and curriculum ideas they have exchanged with fellow attendees.
All delegates receive quality, personalised training from certified professional secondary and post-secondary classroom instructors.
TEC's Summer Camp for instructors was featured in Tech Directions Magazine "Terrific ten training and certification programmes" (February 2003).
The following courses are offered to instructors: "Introduction to the power and uses of Cadkey"; "Real world drafting and design with Cadkey"; "Industrial design with power tools of Cadkey"; "Exploring the world of architecture with DataCAD"; "Architectural rendering and modelling beyond floor plans"; "Exploring Chief Architect and it's uses in your classroom"; "The ABCs of CNC for the instructor and classroom"; and "Hands-on 3D CNC manufacturing".
These highly affordable training courses will expand the educator's knowledge of 3D CAD, solid modelling, CAM and manufacturing using key tips and short cuts with the latest Cadkey, DataCAD, Surfcam and Chief Architect software packages, an RP 3D printer and CNC equipment; additionally, instructors can take advantage of an open evening lab where assistants will be available to answer questions.
Guest speakers are scheduled to attend.
Instructors who participate will also have the opportunity to earn graduate credits courtesy of Keene State College (Keene, NH).
