Techni-Grip's patented workholding system design provides numerous advantages over vice-based work holding systems by combining floating dovetail clamp assemblies that pull the material to the face of the fixture, and pin and hole for precise repeatable location Beyond the locating function, the pins anchor the material in the clamping axis to eliminate the propensity of the material to slide inside the dovetail clamps or rotate common to the clamping axis

In doing so, we have solved many challenges regarding production efficiency: * standardization of fixturing reducing tooling design requirements.

* reduction of excess material to.125 maximum (to hold any size or type of material).

* holding capacity increases amount of material that can be removed in a given cut.

* eliminates all loading variables for operator error - no parallels, no spreaders, no indicators, nothing to set-up and nothing to tear down.

* as the clamp assy's are floating within a given range of motion, the dovetails need not be held to tight parallelism and can be offset as long as the.500 dia's are in-line.

* diametrical tolerance on the.500 diameters in the stock is contingent upon the dimensional precision required for the given application.

* the stock prep may be offset in x,y or z for cutter accessibility or established in multiple directions on the material.

* the units may also be mounted parallel allowing you to double the clamping platform width by using an extended bolt in the clamp assemblies and locating on two diagonal pins.
