The Voyager Series VB1 belt-driven slide from Techno features lengths up to 3m and speeds up to 5m/s It can be used for many applications such as dispensing, inspection, pick and place and parts transfer

These slides can be assembled to make two- and three-axis systems.

The slides are available in 15 different travels from 200 to 3000mm.

Custom travels up to 5700m are also available.

The VB1 comes with several types of motor configurations, including NEMA 23 and 34 steppers and servos, as well as no motor.

It uses its own belt to protect the carriage and rail from dirt and debris; and all models are available in stainless steel.

Of special interest is the 50mm wide steel-reinforced HTD timing belt drive which features a deep curvilinear profile for more positive nonslip operation which compared with the conventional trapezoidal tooth profile.

This provides greater shear strength and smaller unit pressure per tooth as the area of contact is greater.
