Heavy duty stepper- or servomotor-based slides feature a single rigid aluminium extrusion profile and fully enclosed motor assembly.

A new series of heavy duty stepper- or servomotor-based slides from Techno-Isel feature a single rigid aluminium extrusion profile and fully enclosed motor assembly.

These compact units, identified as the HD2 Series, are offered in stroke lengths from 122 to 822mm.

They are designed for a wide variety of assembly, inspection and production machinery applications capable of handling heavy duty loads.

They are available with either a 1Nm stepper motor a 120W servomotor or no motor.

Each unit has four precision ground steel rails 12mm in diameter with either two or four single piece steel bearing blocks all hardened to HRC 62 +/- 2.

They also come equipped with 16mm diameter ball screw drives with pitches of 2.5, 5, 10 and 20mm.

Teflon seals are fitted to the slide to guard against contaminants.

The linear carriage plate is capable of speeds up to 5m/s.
