With the ever-increasing importance of the chemical, processing and oil and gas industries to its business, Turck Banner is pleased to announce the appointment of Brian Jones as Divisional Manager for Automation products with immediate effect.

Brian has spent most of his career in the electrical control industry involved with intrinsically safe products for hazardous areas and is well known as a specialist in this field.

He has designed and presented seminars and training programmes on the subject and has supplied valuable input to the Fieldbus Foundation Marketing Group.

He is joining Turck Banner at an exciting time, with many new products and services due to be launched in the coming months.

Turck Banner Ltd was launched in London earlier this year and brings together the considerable strengths of Turck GmbH and Banner Inc, two of the world's major forces in the field of sensing and automation.

When not working, Brian is manager and coach of a youth football team and enjoys golf and photography.

He is married with two children and lives in Hampshire.

He looks forward to working with the dynamic new team at Turck Banner and continuing to develop his experience and connections in industry.
