Tyco Electronics has introduced an innovative busbar termination plate, which provides a neat, low cost EMC solution for the termination of multiple screened cables at a single grounding point.
Tyco Electronics has introduced an innovative busbar termination plate, which provides a neat, low cost EMC solution for the termination of multiple screened cables at a single grounding point.
Although initially developed for the rail industry the device is ideal for any manufacturing application that requires simple shield grounding for a number of twisted pairs.
The low profile Busbar Device is designed for use with Tyco Electronics' standard SolderSleeves and eliminates the need for pigtails.
Each device accommodates up to eight, end or centre stripped, screened cables.
They can be installed singly or in tandem, without the need for special tooling, and provide a tidy, compact and organised arrangement which will be appreciated by technicians or engineers involved in any future retro-work.
