Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Sep 12, 2000

New low profile two or three way connectors can be supplied fitted to any of the TML range of 2 or 3-wire integral cable type strain gauges, with push-to-make contacts for excellent signal continuity

A new solution from TML for connecting strain gauge extension leads is introduced by Techni Measure.

The low profile two or three way connectors can be supplied fitted to any of the TML range of two or three wire integral cable type strain gauges.

Both parts of the complete mating connectors are physically the same and so can be used to construct extension leads up to the required length.

The push-to-make contacts within the connectors provide excellent signal continuity and can be used many times.

With their low profile design, the connectors are easily mounted and can be supplied with a blanking plug for protection against dust, etc.

on the exposed unused connector.

Although normally supplied as an option fitted to the TML integral lead strain gauges, these connectors are also available in packs of 20 for customer fitting.
