New from Techni Measure is series 3700 capacitive accelerometers, ideal for true DC response and low frequency vibration measurements on lifts, vehicles, aircraft, buildings, bridges, etc.

The sensors are a new variant of accelerometers manufactured by the DCS Division of PCB, more well known for their piezoelectric devices.

Packaged in rugged titanium housings, a series of single and triaxial models are available to measure acceleration as low as 20 micro-g to over 200 g within a frequency bandwidth from 0 (DC) to 1000 Hz.

Built-in microelectronics, which operate from any 5 to 30 Vdc laboratory or battery supply, provide a conveniently standardised sensitivity and low noise output signal capable of being driven over long cables through harsh environments with no loss in quality.

The compact, low mass sensors with a typical weight of just 15 grams have an overload capability of up to 3000g for mishandling protection and will operate over a temperature range of -40 to +85õC.

The 3700 accelerometers are supported with a choice of capacitive sensor signal conditioners, cable and mounting accessories, including an easy-mount clip and a triaxial mounting block.
