The latest addition to the PCB Pieztronics growing range of acoustic products is designed for mounting an array of low cost microphones.

Available in the UK through Techni Measure is an addition to the PCB Pieztronics growing range of acoustic products.

Designed for mounting an array of low cost microphones, the model 379A01 is available for easy arrangement of these microphones in a grid.

The precision made, array microphone test stand, enables flexible pattern arrays to be arranged, using the readily available 130D20 or 130D21 free-field array microphones.

These microphones provide a cost effective method for large channel count sound measurements.

They are powered by standard ICP sensor signal conditioners, and have an integral preamplifier with either a BNC connector, or with a 10-32 connector which provides a complete microphone assembly with only a 0.25in diameter.

Typical applications include sound pressure mapping, acoustic mode analysis, near-field acoustic holography and vibroacoustic testing.

Array kits are available complete with patch panel, cables and signal conditioners for multichannel applications.

The array sensors are also available with the transducer electronic datasheet (TEDS) option, compliant with IEEE P1451.4.
