The 1400 series of rotary weighing load cells from Tedea-Huntleigh Europe are believed to be the first load cells specifically designed for rotary filling and bottling machines.

Available in capacities of 10,20 and 30 kg, these products find application in equipment for the chemical, paint, food, drink and allied industries.

The patented design of the load cells overcomes problems associated with the use of conventional load cells in rotary weighing machines.

Filling cycle times are significantly reduced and total dynamic error is typically less than 0.03%.

Due to their robust construction, the units are very resistant to side loads and can withstand forces generated by bottle jams and other process mishaps.

The model 1410 is designed to go under the carousel, while the fully sealed, stainless steel 1430 version is ideal for use in harsh environments and is designed to be fitted on top of the carousel.

The 1400 load cells are just part of Tedea-Huntleigh's range of special load cells for use in filling, dosing, packing and high-speed check-weighing equipment.
