Effective, dependable and economical monitoring of voltages, currents and other power system parameters - and even of liquid levels - is now easy to achieve with the new Zelio Control RM4 range of monitoring and control relays from Telemecanique, a brand of Schneider Electric These compact devices - only the 15A current monitors exceed 22.5mm in width - are available in no fewer than 48 different versions covering virtually every industrial and commercial requirement

Servomotor system suits a range of machinery
The Lexium motion controller is sufficiently powerful to require no other PLCs for many applications.
The new Zelio Control RM4 range includes voltage and current monitoring relays for both AC (50 or 60Hz) and DC supplies, as well as phase rotation, phase imbalance and phase asymmetry relays for three-phase supplies, and liquid level control relays which are designed for use with submersible probes.
To ensure maximum versatility and economy, many RM4 relays combine several functions - for example under- and over-voltage, or phase failure, phase rotation and undervoltage - in a single unit.
Some of the relays in the range also have built-in adjustable time delay functions which allow them to ignore short-term fluctuations in the quantity which they are monitoring.
Operating thresholds for voltage and current relays are readily adjustable, and the various models in the range cover, between them, 50mV to 500V and 3mA to 15A.
The adjustment facilities are protected by a sealable transparent cover which prevents unauthorised tampering, yet ensures that the settings remain clearly visible at all times.
Zelio Control RM4 monitoring relays are provided with heavy-duty changeover relay contact outputs, and are suitable for direct mounting on DIN-rail or mounting plates.
As an aid to installation and adjustment, the side of each relay is printed with easy-to-follow wiring and operating diagrams.
The relays are UL-, CSA- and GL-approved, and they carry the CE marking.
