Tego Dial, the modular system for building attractive and ergonomic operator stations from Telemecanique, has now been extended to include stainless-steel versions

Tego Dial, the modular system for building attractive and ergonomic operator stations from Telemecanique, has now been extended to include stainless-steel versions which are highly resistant to the adverse effects of cleaning agents and other commonly encountered industrial chemicals The new versions feature enclosures and support arms which are manufactured from high-grade type 304 stainless-steel

They use the same durable and chemical-resistant melamine fascia panels as existing models.

Complete assemblies have an IP65 protection rating which means that they can be cleaned by hosing down, making them an ideal choice for applications in the food and beverage, pharmaceutical, cosmetics and process industries.

Designed for maximum versatility and ease of use, the Tego Dial system can accommodate HMI devices of all types, including pushbuttons, indicator lamps, switches, meters and even electronic HMI terminals.

The modular design of the system means that, not only is it easy to configure to suit specific requirements, it is also easy to add or remove components or make other modifications, even on site.

The complete Tego Dial system includes modular mounting plates, purpose-designed fascias, enclosures, interface components for speedy wiring, and support arms on which complete operator stations can be mounted.

Tego Dial mounting plates are available with cutouts to accommodate a wide variety of panel-mounting components and, in some cases, identification labels.

The mounting plates, which are based on a standard module size, clip simply, but securely, into the front panel of a Tego Dial enclosure, producing a complete control station with no cutting or drilling.

To make the system even easier to specify and use, Telemecanique offers the Tego CAD software package which is suitable for use with virtually any modern PC, and which guides users through the design of their operator stations, and the preparation of parts lists.

The latest version of this package has been fully upgraded to include all of the new stainless-steel options.
