Fused combination switches in the popular GS1 range from Telemecanique are now available as convenient kits of parts for use in control panel and motor control centre applications Not only does this make ordering faster and easier, it also ensures that the correct parts are automatically specified, and that none of the essential components are ever forgotten

A single reference is all that's needed to order a kit which includes a switch body, a fuse shroud, a padlockable operator assembly with door interlock, and a shaft extension.

The kits are available with either red/yellow or black operator assemblies, and all major components in the GS1 system can also be ordered separately for spares, or for special applications.

Ideal for use in control panels as main, emergency or section disconnect switches, Telemecanique GS1 three-pole fused combination switches are available with ratings from 32 to 1250A.

When fitted with the appropriate BS88 fuses, they may be combined with Telemecanique contactors and overload relays to produce cost-effective Type 2 co-ordinated starter assemblies.

All models in the range offer full compliance with BS EN 60947-1, and have a prospective fault withstand capability of 80kA with BS88 fuse links.

The switches have an IP20 protection rating and, when correctly installed, the operator assemblies have an IP65 rating.

The versatility of the products in Telemecanique's GS1 fused combination switch range is further extended by the availability of accessories, which include body- and side-mounted auxiliary contacts and neutral links.
