For interfacing applications, particularly where space is at a premium, Telemecanique has introduced Zelio RS relays.
These tiny units, which measure just 16 x 29 x 13mm, are available in two-pole versions with contacts rated at 8A thermal, and in single-pole versions with contacts rated at either 12A or 16A.
All contacts are changeover types.
Zelio RS relays are available with DC coils for standard voltages from 12V to 120V, while versions with AC coils can be supplied to suit standard voltages from 24 to 230V, 50/60Hz.
Also new to the Zelio plug-in relay range are type RXL relays which feature the industry-standard miniature format and base, but offer current ratings up to 12A thermal for two-pole types, compared with the typical 5A rating of most similarly sized products.
Type RXL relays are available in two-, three- and four-pole versions, with coil voltages up to 120V DC, and 230V AC.
Zelio type RUN relays are now available with eleven-pin rectangular-style bases, in addition to the existing versions with eight- and eleven-pin circular-style bases.
Models with two or three changeover contacts, rated at up to 10A, are available.
Both RXL- and RUN-type relays are optionally available with gold-flashed contacts which provide enhanced performance when switching very low-level signals.
These relay types also incorporate an LED indicator, which provides instant visual confirmation that the coil is energised, and they offer facilities for momentary or maintained manual operation of the contacts as an aid to commissioning and fault-finding.
Telemecanique Zelio relays are complemented by an extensive range of sockets, all of which have screw-terminal connections, and are suitable for DIN-rail or panel mounting.
To further increase the versatility of these products, the sockets can also accommodate plug-in accessories, such as surge suppressors.
