Bristol cinemagoers are now enjoying improved screenings of classic and archive movies, thanks to an Altivar 18 variable speed drive from Telemecanique.
The school's money will be added to the cash raised by the efforts of Schneider Electric's own staff for the Luli campaign, the name of which was chosen because it is easy to pronounce in every language of the world.
The objective of this worldwide campaign is to provide support for organisations involved with assisting young people in difficulty.
In the UK, employees at all of Schneider Electric's sites, including Chippenham, have voted for their efforts in support of the Luli campaign to be channelled to the charity, "Children with Leukaemia".
To-date, these efforts have included sponsored walks, auctions, raffles and barbecues.
"The donation from Corsham School is a really generous boost for our campaign", said Mary Renfree of Schneider Electric, "and we are truly grateful to all those involved in the fund-raising at the school for the time and effort they have put in.
We know that the money is going to an excellent cause, and will be used to produce valuable benefits for children who are unfortunate enough to have leukaemia".
