Schneider Electric is enhancing its distributor support with a rolling programme of roadshows and events The events are designed to ensure that distributors achieve high levels of profitability, and that the distributors' customers receive expert advice, along with excellent service and support, when they buy products from the brands of Schneider Electric

These well known brands include Merlin Gerin, Modicon, Sarel, Square D and Telemecanique.

For the convenience of those attending, Schneider Electric is organising its distributor support events at a large number of locations throughout the country.

Events which have been held recently, or are planned for the near future, include Telemecanique roadshows and Merlin Gerin Authorised Distributor (MAD) days, as well as Square D and Canalis presentations which have been specially designed to meet the needs of distributors.

Telemecanique's roadshows are presented by an expert team, and aim not only to explain the benefits of Telemecanique products to the distributor staff, but also to show how the staff can highlight these benefits when talking to their own customers.

The presentations are supported by a series of TeleTool information folders, each of which provides key information on a particular range.

Merlin Gerin MAD days are designed, as the name suggests, to be enjoyable, but they also provide invaluable information on topics such as brand identity, sales support and the provision of customer service.

The Square D events cover similar themes, and have recently been used as an effective method of introducing a new catalogue, and explaining how this can provide an entry into new markets.

Canalis events are tightly focused on expounding benefits of using busbar trunking, rather than conventional cable, as the basis for electrical installations in buildings.

While still comparatively novel, this approach is growing rapidly in popularity, and offers an attractive opportunity for well informed distributors to capture additional, profitable business.
