Schneider Electric is recruiting new staff to join its Energy Services team.

Schneider Electric has identified that energy efficiency has become a major focus of an increasing number of businesses, and to cope with the unprecedented demand it is recruiting new staff to join its Energy Services team.

Energy consultants, specification engineers and project managers are currently being sought.

As part of Schneider Electric Projects and Services, the Energy Services team delivers a total energy management solution to customers.

Starting with a company-wide assessment of energy usage, including electricity, gas, water, air and steam, Schneider Electric offers a turnkey solution that turn recommendations into hard savings throughout the lifecycle of the products.

The offer includes a comprehensive communication and training package designed to change the habits of employees to make a permanent improvement in the way energy is consumed.

Andrew Sloan, who heads the Schneider Electric Projects and Services Division commented: "We have witnessed unprecedented growth in demand for energy studies and energy efficiency advice".

He added: "Most organisations now wish to implement energy policies which deliver real business benefits, but few have the specialist knowledge or resources to deploy a successful project - which is where Schneider Electric comes in".

Schneider Electric has made energy efficiency a primary theme for its business, alongside other key issues such as critical power and asset optimisation.

These themes strive to reduce costs and increase equipment life expectancy for customers.
